Summertime Soaps

Happy Summer Everyone.

Time for the beach and hangin with the kiddos. I’ve been busy creating some summer soap blends. Here is the line up so far… a few more surprises to come this summer.

First up is my “Mojito for the Shower”. Spearmint & Lime – oh so refreshing and so satisfying after being in the heat, working out or just plain stressed out.

Second up: Jasmine Green Tea – this combo was created by brewing organic sencha green tea & organic jasmine flowers over night then using the tea to make the soap we added our favorite jasmine fragrance oil and wow its just like a summer breeze.

This sunday – June 6 Lolablue will be at PINKLIGHT in Orlando, FL. Spreading the lola love with a surprise soap called “Dark & Dirty” Pink Sugar Soap. Playful. Mischievous. Romantic. Notes of Bergamot, Sicilian Orange, Raspberry, Fig Leaves, Lily of the Valley, Licorice, Strawberry, Red Fruit, Cotton Candy, Vanilla, Caramel,

Yep! Bet ya didn’t know – making soap from scratch…glycerin is produced naturally.

Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it draws water from the air, and a natural by-product of the saponification process, making natural soap the best for your skin and well-being.

Why is Lolablue soap better than store-bought, well one thing is…its REAL SOAP!

The commercial soap bars in grocery stores are actually synthetic (bad for you) detergents.
Commercial soap makers remove the glycerin from their soap and then sell it to the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

At Lolablue, we create our soap the old fashion way from scratch with natural raw ingredients. Using the hot process method of soapmaking which means we cook our soap, then let it cure for 2 weeks before selling. The longer the cure, the harder the bar and the longer it will last.

We use only all natural vegetable plant oils- olive, coconut & castor, then we superfat the batch with shea & cocoa butter for over the top moisturizing benefits.

Then we infuse essential oils and/or phlathate-free fragrance oils for scent, we use only natural colorants such as turmeric root, brewed organic coffee, clays, mineral oxides & spices add texture.

Conserve water & shower with a HAPPY friend.

We pass on savings to our local lolablue soap lovers! (only available at our local farmers markets)

soap cakes are 3oz. for $3

soap balls are 6oz. for $4. Thats an AWESOME value! (Since our reg. soap bars are about 4.3 – 4.5 oz. and $5.50.)

Here is how we reduce and reuse any leftover soap…

After making a batch of soap the leftovers get made into soap cakes, then when we trim the loaf the excess gets made into soap balls, when a loaf gets cut the ends are sold at our local market. No waste round here!

REMEMBER… Quanities & scent availability is limited from week to week.
